TOP ORDER FAILED:

We very well know how SRH is dependent on their top order batting. But this time the scenario was different. While opting to bat first after winning the toss they had poor start to their innings. Deepak chahar set up Bairstow nicely by bowling away swinging delivery followed by a brilliant in swing. Thereafter Manish and Warner stitched a small partnership. But after poweplay First Pandey and then Warner departed while trying to increase the scoring rate. Williamson too got run out because of the mix up with Priyam Garg. At this stage they were in the deep trouble.

BLESSING IN DISGUISE!

Top order failure proved to be the blessing in disguise for the SRH as it gave chance to their youngsters to show their talent. Both Priyam and Abhishek took the opportunity with both the hands and shower their class. Abhishek attacked the bowlers from very beginnig and made a quickfire 31. Priyam Garg, Captain of Indian U19 team played calm and composed innings and brought up his maidan IPL fifty in just 4th game. This helped SRH to post a competitive total of 164/5.

SLOPPY CSK:

CSK fielder were very sloppy in the field tonight. They dropped Priyam Garg and Abhishek once which proved costly for them in the end.

SHANE WATSON’S POOR RUN CONTINUES

While chasing the total, Shane Watson again failed to give his team a good start and wad dismissed cheaply by Bhuvaneshwar. Rayudu, making comeback after missing two games due to injury could make and impact and departed for 8 runs. Du Plessis, CSK’s only man in form counterattacked the Hyderabad bowlers and kept Chennai in a hunt. But he also got ran out.

OLD DUO BUT SAME FIGHTBACK:

MSD promoted himself today at no.5. After the departure of Kedar Jadhav, Jadeja joined MS and Indias famous duo started the comeback process. They played out the spinners cautiously but after settling down started to accelerate. Jadeja especially was very attacking and brought up his fifty and got out the very next bowl.

TIRED BUT TRIED!

After departure of Jadeja, onus was on Dhoni to see them through. He tried his best but intense heat got him and he had to take tablets during his over . At last he failed to cross the finish line and they were 7 runs short of their target.
