Rajasthan Royals lost both their openers very early in their innings. Both Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra failed to reach double digit mark. Muhammad siraj dismissed Jos Buttler and also got the crucial wicket of David Miller. He took total 3 wickets and gave only 27 runs. Purple cap holder Harshal Patel also took 3 wickets. Rajasthan lost 3 wickets in the powerplay. However some efficient innings from Shivam Dube , Rahul Tewatia and Riyan parag took Rajasthan to 177. Shivam Dube scored 46 runs of 36 deliveries. Rahul Tewatia scored 40 runs of 23 deliveries including 2 sixes and 4 fours.
Devdutt Padikkal Magnificent century and Virat kohli superb innings Helps RCB Cross The line
In response, RCB openers proved too good for RR and they chased the target quite easily without losing any wickets. Young Devdutt Padikkal slammed his maiden IPL ton. Devdutt Padikkal scored brilliant 101 of 52 deliveries including some brilliant classical shots. He smashed 6 Sixes and 11 fours. He was well accompanied by his skipper Virat kohli who scored 72 runs of 47 deliveries. Virat smashed 3 sixes and 6 fours. Kohli and Padikkal together made the highest opening partnership for RCB. They made an unbeaten partnership of 181 runs. Padikkal was adjudged the man of the match for his amazing innings.
Four Consecutive Wins for RCB
Royal challengers Banglore have now won their first four encounter. This is their best start to an IPL season. They remain unbeaten in this season. With this win, they once again move to the top of the table removing CSK. In there next match, they will meet chennai super kings who have also had great start to their season. RCB would want to continue their winning momentum. In the other hand CSK would look to stop their winning streak.
