England beat India by 6 wickets, level 3 match series 1-1. Two centuries were scored in the match. The centurions were KL Rahul and Jonny Bairstow. Ben Stokes missed his century by just 1 run as he was out on 99. This was a complete belter of a pitch.

Man of the Match: Jonny Bairstow

England captain was Jos Buttler today as Eoin Morgan was injured for the match. Once again England won the toss and chose to field first. Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, made just 1 change to the team. Shreyas Iyer had a shoulder injury and thus Rishabh Pant replaced him.

KL Rahul scored 5th ODI century

Virat Kohli scored a fluent half century. But he was again dismissed before scoring a hundred. KL Rahul silenced all his critics by scoring a hundred. He made 108 runs off 114 balls. Rishabh Pant played a very explosive innings of 77 runs off just 40 deliveries. He alongwith Hardik Pandya was instrumental in helping India reach 336 runs.

Bairstow scores century, Stokes dismissed on 99

England were phenomenal in the run chase. They attacked the Indian bowlers, especially the spinners. Jonny Bairstow scored his century. It was raining sixes at Pune. As many as 20 sixes were scored by England. Ben Stokes played a blinder of a knock. He was dismissed on 99 but by that time England were already in a winning position.

Jonny Bairstow was awarded Man of the Match. He scored his 11th ODI century. The knock involved 11 fours and 7 sixes.
