IPL 2020 qualifier 2 : Delhi Capitals won the second qualifier against Sunrisers Hyderabad and made it to their first IPL final ever. They defeated SRH by 17 runs . SRH’s dream run in the second half of the IPL comes to an end. They won 4 consecutive games to reach to the second qualifier.

DC won the toss and chose to bat first. Warner said at toss that he would have bowled first had he won the toss. SRH had no changes to their playing eleven whereas DC had 2 changes- Hetmeyer and Dube in for Sams and Shaw.
New Opener Works For DC
Marcus Stoinis displaced Shaw as the opener for DC and provided a really good start to the team, something that they were lacking in the previous matches. He scored 38 runs, and Dhawan assisted him perfectly. DC were 65-0 after the power play. Dhawan and Hetmeyer Puts Up Good Score Dhawan handled the team perfectly and didn’t allow the good start to mellow down and then Hetmeyer provided a prolific finish by his 22 balls 42 to take DC to 189-3.
Poor Start But Williamson Tries
After losing 3 wickets in the powerplay, it’s usually very difficult to chase 190 and that is what happened. Despite early hiccups, Williamson provided some hope to the SRH side but continuously lost partners and ultimately perished on 67.Delhi Capitals won the second qualifier .
Golden Arm Of Stoinis
After a crucial knock with the bat, Stoinis ensured that his effort with the bat won’t go in vain. He took 2 wickets in his first over and then 1 key wicket of Williamson later that pretty much sealed the match for them.
