MI vs RR Match Preview & Predication xi
The Mumbai Indians are enjoying a good run in the Dream 11 IPL. They take on Rajasthan Royals tonight who have lost their previous 2 games.
Mumbai Indians – Why Change
Things are going well for Mumbai Indians. All their players are looking good. The bowling unit looks lethal with the trio of Bumrah, Pattinson and Boult. The batting unit has not failed all at once. If one fails, the other steps up. All in all, there seems to be no reason why they should fiddle with a match-winning combination.
Record Against Rajasthan Royals
Mumbai Indians have lost their previous 4 games against the Royals. Jos Buttler, in particular, has troubled them. It will be interesting to see whether Mumbai Indians weigh over this psychological advantage or not.
Rajasthan Royals – No Stokes Just As Yet
Ben Stokes will be unavailable for selection in tonight’s game as he is still serving his quarantine. Although RR has been finishing alright with the bat, it’s their death bowling that might prove to be self-destructive.
Uthappa’s Place In Question
Robin Uthappa has thus far scored 5, 9, 2, 17 in the four games that he’s played. He’s looked very rusty. The young Yashasvi Jaiswal might be up for selection tonight in place of Uthappa. But will Smith drop himself to 3 to accommodate the young opener?
Fast Bowling Needs Changes
Tom Curran has an IPL economy of 11.53, the highest in the IPL history. Someone like Oshane Thomas or Andrew Tye might get a nod for tonight’s game. This will decrease their batting depth a little bit because Tom Curran has been handy with the bat. In the Indian contingency, one of Varun Aaron or Kartik Tyagi can get a game.
