Nitish Rana star as KKR beat SRH by 10 runs to win their season opener.
Some Brilliant Batting performance Supported by a decent bowling performance helped Kolkata knight riders to win their first match of viva IPL season 14. David Warner led Sun risers Hyderabad failed to chase the target of 188 and eventually fell 10 run behind from the target.

Man Of The Match :
Nitish Rana was selected as the man of the match against the orange army after his explosive 56 Ball 80 helped KKR to reach a huge first innings score of 187. During his fabulous innings he smashed 4 sixes & 9 fours. Even after the wicket of Shubham gill , he didn’t let the run rate to slow down and smashed bowlers continuously but missed his well deserved century and was dismissed by afghan all-rounder Muhammad Nabi.
Hyderabad Bowlers Disappoint
Except the Afghan sensation Rashid khan , every Hyderabad’s bowler failed to stop leaking runs. Even Natarajan and bhuvaneshwar was smashed at ease by the kkr batsmen. Rashid khan however bowled extremely well giving just 24 runs and taking 2 crucial wicket. Bhuvneshwar and natarajan took one wicket each but failed to stop leaking runs .
Quick Cameo From Dinesh Karthik
Nitish Rana innings was supported by some amazing quick fire cameo from Dinesh karthik & half century by Rahul Tripathi took Kolkata to a huge total of 188 . Dinesh Karthik small but effective cameo included a six and 2 fours.
Warner & Saha Failed
Sun risers captain failed to score big and got out on a single digit score. The opening pair of Saha and Warner couldn’t failed to provide a good start and they both got out on single digit score. Saha was dismissed by Shakib Al Hassan and Warner got out of prasidh krishna. Warner could only reach 3 runs and Saha could only score 7 runs.
Descent Bowling From Kolkata
Although Manish Pandey ( 61 runs of 44b ) and Bairstow ( 55 runs of 40b ). Eventually helped Hyderabad to reach close to the total but they fell 10 run short in the end. Kolkata bowled brilliantly and economical , thanks to some amazing bowling by experienced Pat cummins and shakib Al Hasan giving only 34 & 30 runs respectively and taking 1 wicket each .
Prasidh krishna also bowled brilliantly taking 2 wickets and just giving 35 runs in his 4 over quota. Each KKR bowler bowled economic spells and helped KKR Win their season opener.
