T20 is the game of all-rounders. The star studded batting line ups and the intimidating bowlers might be important but if you’re team has a good all-rounder, it’s sure to dominate. Here we look at the Top 5 all-rounders who are going to have a massive impact in the IPL 2020.

1. RUSSELL’s MUSCLE POWERAndre Russell

With a jaw-dropping strike rate of 186 with the bat, Russell can change the game in an over’s span with the RCB bearing witness to the destructive power of Russell when they faced KKR in Chinnaswamy last year where he smashed 48 of just 13 deliveries. While Russell is indispensable with the bat, his 4 overs with the bowl have proven to be the deciding factor on many occasions for KKR.

2. THE ACCIDENTAL ALL-ROUNDERSunil Narine

He opened for the first time in T20s for Melbourne Renegades in the BBL and has been a feared opener ever since. Narine looked in good form in the recently concluded CPL 2020, where his economy of 4.88 RPO and a batting strike rate of nearly 150 handed TKR their fourth title win.

3. KUNG-FU PANDYAHardik Pandya

A struggle with injuries in the last 18 months have had Hardik Pandya on the sidelines but he looks fitter than ever now. This Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder will have a ‘daddy’ responsibility of handling that finishing role for MI along with the likes of Pollard and his brother in crime, Krunal Pandya.

4. POLLARD POWERKieron Pollard

The CPL 202 has brought an already strong MI with yet another armour. Pollard has started bowling again and has been bowling well. He bagged 8 wickets in the 6 innings that he bowled with an economy of 7.5 RPO in CPL2020. Pollard also had an average of 51.10 in the same tournament showing how instrumental he can be in defending MI’s title.

5.  SIR BEN STOKESBen Stokes

Ben Stokes’ heroics of the 2017 season with the Rising Pune Supergiants is unforgettable. He can finish with the bat and with the ball. Pair him with Archer and you get probably one of the most lethal death bowling in IPL 2020. But all’s not well for Rajasthan Royals fans as Ben Stokes’ availability remains a huge question!
